Abstract:

This presentation will discuss use of spontaneous reporting and patient reporting of adverse drug effects in informing drug safety. RxISK is a portal for patient direct reporting of, and information about, drug side effects. The data available includes patient direct reports to RxISK, and access to up to date data from the FDA and Health Canada spontaneous report datasets. The presentation will include an explanation and introduction to the data in RxISK, and how to use the website portal.
