A message from Dr. Lisa Dolovich, Principal Investigator & Program Director, DSECT Program
The DSECT Symposium is an event focused on training the next generation of researcher in Drug Safety and Effectiveness bringing together alumni, trainees and faculty from across Canada to network, present and collaborate in person. It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of our in-person symposium scheduled to be held in Toronto on April 29-30. This decision comes after careful consideration of the evolving situation regarding COVID-19 with direction from our host site, the University of Toronto, and the Public Health Agency of Canada’s advice on mass gatherings during the outbreak.
The DSECT Symposium is an important event in the program and we all look forward yearly to the face to face learning, networking and sharing. This year’s DSECT Symposium was the program’s 10th year! We will still be celebrating this milestone but through alternative methods particularly online via webinar over different days.
