Biography
Dr. Amédé Gogovor is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Medicine, Université Laval with Dr. France Légaré, Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Shared Decision Making and Knowledge Translation and Director of the KT component of Quebec SPOR Support Unit (QSSU), and with Dr. David Moher, Senior Scientist at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and Director of the Centre for Journalology. He is leading the development of reporting standards for scaling up studies, a project that integrates the principles of patient-oriented research and the science of sex and gender. Amédé is funded by QSSU, FRQS postdoctoral award and CIHR fellowship. His previous work and current research interests include knowledge synthesis, interdisciplinary management of chronic pain, healthcare surveys and optimal medication prescription and use in chronic care management. Amédé holds a DESS in Drug development and MSc in Pharmaceutical sciences from Université de Montréal and a PhD in Experimental medicine from McGill University.
