Biography
Brett is currently completing his M.Sc. in the Health Research Methodology program at McMaster University, specializing in Health Technology Assessment. In 2007, Brett obtained his B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences from McMaster University, after which Brett worked in the pharmaceutical industry for two large generic drug manufacturers in the field of Regulatory Affairs. Brett’s research interests are mainly focused on the use of decision analytic modeling to determine the cost-effectiveness of pharmaceuticals and other emerging health technologies. He is also interested in the use of indirect comparison methods to generate relative effectiveness measures for pharmaceuticals where there is a lack of, or insufficient evidence from head-to-head comparative trials.
