Biography
Carina D’Aiuto holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Therapeutics from McGill University. She is currently at the final stage of completing her Master of Science in Public Health at the University of Montreal. Carina plans to begin her PhD in September 2019 at the University of Sherbrooke in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science. As part of her PhD project, she will investigate physician prescribing patterns and the inappropriate use of psychotropic medications in older adults with multiple chronic conditions. Overall, her research interests include pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics. She is also passionate about reducing health inequalities and improving research initiatives for vulnerable populations.
