Biography
Celline is a postdoctoral fellow within the Division of Clinical Epidemiology at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) since September 2018, under the supervision of Dr. Sasha Bernatsky. Celline holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil (UFMG), a Masters in Public Health and Epidemiology from the School of Medicine of UFMG, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) from UFMG. Celline works in the field pharmacoepidemiology since she was an undergraduate student and she is highly motivated to continue her training in drug comparative effectiveness and safety research. She is currently performing a time-to-event (survival) analysis to identify predictors of flare risk after lowering the dose of or discontinuing hydroxychloroquine treatment for systemic lupus. The results will be used in future guidelines for personalized medical decision making.
