Biography
Devin Abrahami is a fourth year PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University. Under the supervision of Dr. Laurent Azoulay, she is undertaking a specialization in Pharmacoepidemiology. To date, her research has focused on the long-term safety of antihyperglycemic drugs, with a special interest in cancer as a safety endpoint. For her doctoral thesis, she will be exploring the utilization and safety of proton-pump inhibitors, drugs used to manage gastric conditions. Devin previously completed an MSc in Experimental Medicine (McGill University) and a BSc in Chemistry (Western University).
