Biography
Jason is currently enrolled in the Health Research Methodology MSc program at McMaster University, specializing in Clinical Epidemiology. Jason received his BSc.Phm at the University of Toronto. He then completed a pharmacy residency program at The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) and obtained an accredited Canadian pharmacy residency (ACPR) designation. Jason has worked as a clinical pharmacist at TOH and as a relief pharmacist in retail pharmacy. His main research interests are focused on the use of large administrative databases to evaluate clinical effectiveness, prescribing patterns, and safety of medications. For his thesis, Jason will examine both the benefits and harms of warfarin in a very large subset of individuals representative of the Ontario population as a whole.
