Biography

Jennifer Donnan is a PhD candidate at Memorial University’s School of Pharmacy under the co-supervision of Dr. John-Michael Gamble and Dr. Hai Nguyen. Jennifer graduated from Memorial with a BSc.Pharm in 2005 and has since completed a MSc. in Health Technology Assessment from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Memorial University. She has worked as a clinical pharmacist, a pharmacy research specialist, and a drug information pharmacist. She is currently supported by Fellowship from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research under the priority area of Drug Safety and Effectiveness. Jennifer’s research focuses on incorporating safety and efficacy data with patient preferences to conduct a quantitative risk benefit analysis of diabetes therapies.
