Biography

Kaitlyn is currently completing her MSc in the Experimental Medicine Program at the University of British Columbia under the supervision of Dr. Bruce Carleton. She is also a trainee in the Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy Innovation (POPi) programme, and the Canadian Pharmacogenomics Network for Drug Safety (CPNDS). She previously completed a BSc in Pharmacology at the University of Western Ontario. Her current work is in the field of pharmacogenomics investigating the effect of gene variants on drug safety and clinical outcomes in children receiving warfarin therapy.
