Biography

Muhammad Waheed Asghar is currently completing a PhD in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Alberta, under the joint supervision of Dr. Fakhreddin Jamali and Dr. Scot Simpson. Waheed previously completed a BSc (Pharm) and a Masters of Philosophy (Pharmacokinetics) in Pakistan. He has teaching experience in Clinical Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy and Epidemiology, and Pharmaceutical Mathematics and Biostatistics. He has worked as both a hospital and retail pharmacist. His research interests include therapeutic and pharmacy practice based research, cardiovascular medicine, clinical pharmacokinetics, and altered disposition of drugs in disease state.
