Ya-Hui Yu is a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Dr. Robert Platt and Dr. Kristian Filion at McGill University. She received her PhD in Epidemiology from University of Pittsburgh in the US, where she developed her expertise in perinatal epidemiology and epidemiological methods. Her postdoctoral projects will focus on evaluating drug efficacy and effectiveness among pregnancy women and their offspring (e.g. Pharmacotherapy for gestational diabetes treatment) as well as the methodological challenges in Pharmacoepidemiology. Before her Ph.D training in the U.S., she was trained in Nutrition Sciences (BC, Registered Dietitian) and Epidemiology (MS) in Taiwan.
