Biography
Yasir Rehman is a PhD candidate in Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact and a research intern at the Homewood Research Institute under the supervision of Dr. Jason Busse. Dr. Rehman completed fellowship in neurology and MSc in neuroscience form the McMaster University in 2014. Dr. Rehman has participated as the member of evidence synthesis team for the 2017 Canadian Opioid guidelines for chronic non-cancer pain and American Society of Hematology (ASH) guidelines. He is leading a systematic review for his PhD thesis focusing on the predictors of persistent opioid use after the surgery and a network-meta-analysis to evaluate the relative effectiveness of various competing intervention in the management of PTSD.
