Biography
Behrokh received her Masters in Molecular Biology form York University specializing in cloning of alpha tubulin from a cestode, Hymenolepis diminuta. She is now working towards her PhD in department of pathology and laboratory medicine at university of British Columbia under supervision of Dr. Mark Scott. Her research project is about Immunosuppressive Effects of Acute and Chronic RBC Transfusion Therapy. She is willing to work in area which makes a bridge between bench works in the laboratories with the community concerns in terms of disease rates and drug efficacies.
