Biography
Naushin Hooda is a hospital clinical pharmacist and Masters of Public Health (MPH) candidate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, currently serving as a scientific consultant for EpidStrategies, a scientific consultant firm comprised of epidemiologists and biostatisticians. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of Waterloo, wherein she completed sequential independent study research in the areas of supportive care in oncology and guideline revision, awarding her the GSK/CSPS National Undergraduate Student Research Award in 2019. Following, she completed a post-doctoral industrial residency at Sanofi/Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy (University of Toronto) in infectious disease epidemiology and modeling, and vaccine safety and effectiveness. She has also participated in translational research initiatives leading to the national launch of an opioid dependent treatment program for a large pharmacy retail chain in Canada.
