Recipients will be recognized as a DSECT Program Alumni Recognition Award recipient at the Canadian Association for Population Therapeutics (CAPT) Fall Conference (October 17-18 in Toronto). The Canadian Association for Population Therapeutics (CAPT) 2022 conference has been a key conference venue for presentation of research conducted by those affiliated with DSECT. Recipients of the DSECT Alumni Recognition Award will be honoured in the official CAPT list of award recipients. DSECT is pleased to collaborate with CAPT to highlight DSECT Program Alumni’s successes in research and real-life work with drug safety and effectiveness. Each DSECT Program Alumni Recognition Award recipient will be eligible for up to a $750 award to support travel and registration to the CAPT conference. The CAPT conference will provide an opportunity to network with other DSECT alumni and leading specialists in drug safety and effectiveness research including participation in workshops and a career fair.

DSECT Program Alumni Recognition Award recipients will also be recognized at an online DSECT celebration event planned for late fall 2022. Recipients will be invited to record a two-minute video highlighting their contributions to drug safety and effectiveness research that will be shared at this celebration and posted on the DSECT website.
